This course covers foundational data skills and app capabilities in Ataccama ONE Desktop v15.1. Topics include: Learning the desktop interface, projects and application capabilities; Seeing core functionality in action through an instructor-led demo; Reading, writing, and editing data and metadata connections; Analyzing data statistically and visually to understand quality and structure; Managing and shaping data flows; Following conventions and architectural patterns for effective data work; Writing formulas, functions, and templates to transform data values; Standard techniques like parsing and mapping for shaping data; Testing and fixing expressions, steps, and flows with debug tools; Adding data quality metrics and documentation to flows; Improving quality and performance with reusable reference data. This course provides hands-on exercises in your local ONE Desktop environment to gain practical experience with core data transformation and ETL capabilities. At completion, participants will have fundamental skills to use ONE Desktop for data preparation and quality.
